Projects in Egypt do not all use the same fire alarm standard. Comatrol supplies both UL and EN54 systems, and the brand depends on which standard the project requires.
For UL fire alarm systems in Egypt, Comatrol is the sole distributor of Hochiki America UL products. For EN54 fire alarm systems, Comatrol sells Kidde Commercial and Firelast. These are different ranges.
Some projects require EN54 equipment for civil defense approval. Others, including certain international facilities, require UL-listed equipment. The project requirement decides the range. Hochiki America is not the EN54 range.
